Terri Hendrix with Lloyd Maines: Unplugged on the Porch

Date and Time

Thursday, May 15th
7:30 PM

All Saints’ Episcopal Church
209 W. 27th St.
Austin, TX 78705

Here we are on the third Thursday of the month, which means your favorite concert series is back. This time, we’re thrilled to feature Austin treasure Terri Hendrix. A mainstay of the Austin scene for over fifteen years, her music has been praised by everyone from the Dallas Morning News (“refreshingly eclectic”) to the Philadelphia Folk Festival (“oodles of talent and musical know how”). She has won a Grammy and toured all over the world, as well as founded OYOU, a non-profit dedicated to healing through art. She’ll be joined by Lloyd Maines, the legendary producer and musician who’s worked with everyone from Joe Ely to the Dixie Chicks to Wilco.

Actually Unplugged is a collaboration between the Front Porch and the Live Music Capital Foundation. Its focus is allowing local artists to play in All Saints’ Episcopal Church, a building which follows in the tradition of acoustically breathtaking churches. By relocating music into a building where the space is the amplifier, the performers, the audience, and the place itself come together to create a singular and intimate experience.

We ask for a $10-$20 donation for the artist.
